About this site

This blog was created by wife and husband team Deborah and Richard Pryn to capture and record their travels, adventures and mini breaks with their three children. 

It was also created to inspire other families, particularly with three children - as it can be quite difficult/expensive to find great accommodation that caters for families of five - nope, we don’t want to pay double for an extra hotel room for one extra person.

Deborah

Deborah studied English Literature at Sussex University and began writing and interviewing people for the National Trust Magazine, where she worked for 8 years as Deputy Editor. Here she interviewed volunteers, gardeners, chefs and celebrities, including Jarvis Cocker and Emma Thompson. One of her favourite things about this job was getting to visit amazing sites such as The Giant’s Causeway and Beatrix Potter’s house in the Lake District.

Richard

Rich is an award-winning composer and runs a music production school at richardpryn.com. Rich loves creating content for and building websites with a passion for any type of creation. Highlights of Rich's career so far are recording an orchestra at Abbey Road Studios, scoring a Japanese blockbuster and having had his music go viral on Apple Music.
